I am amazed & so thankful for the care, attention & expertise I experience at every appointment with Dr. Friedman. Couldn’t be more pleased with my visit. I’ve received several diagnoses and needed someone to more clearly explain and confirm these diagnoses. I got exactly that with Dr. Friedmann—clear, concise, no rush explanation in detail. The office staff and doctor are fiercely loyal to their clients, adhere to all covid19 rules, and generously put themselves on the frontline to make sure we all see clearly. I’ll be back when its time again for my eye care because of this exception care and attention. I hope others recognize the huge contribution Dr. Friedmann and his partner, Lesley, make to our community. When others might complain, I’m thrilled to have such care taken at this urgent time to protect the doctor and his family, as well as mine and yours. THANK YOU!!! We are so very appreciative.

So many things to like about Dr. Friedmann. He and his staff treat me like an adult who is interested in my own health and wants me to be informed. The exams are efficient, educational, and helpful. I feel I am in great hands with Dr. Friedman. The C-19 thing adds a whole new layer of care for patients and staff. So many people do not realize that if an infection can be traced to an office, the office shuts down and it kills business and livelihood…not just inconvenience for the patients. There is a lot more at stake when following C-19 rules. I am so glad their staff is clear about protocol and not afraid to uphold it.

I have seen Dr. Friedman for 2 years now. I find him to be one of the very best I have ever seen, so knowledgeable and you can really feel that he enjoys his work and helping his patients. When he explains his findings with you he does it in a very genuine and fun way, I love his sense of humor, but also he speaks in a language that one can understand and relate to. I love his new office and all the high tech equipment which offers you the very best in eye health. His wife is also such a delight to work with. I would highly recommend him and his office to those who are searching for the best eye Dr. in Victoria, BC.

I have been going to Dr. Friedman now for quite a few years and really enjoy each time I’ve met with him. I especially enjoyed his brand new office where he and his wife are working together. The office is tasteful, calming and a very pleasant experience. He has state of the art equipment not found anywhere on the island that was amazing and gives an even better view into your eyes and their health. He is very thorough, takes time to ask if you had any questions and and answers and explains things in a way that a regular non medically trained person can understand. He has explained things that no one else has that relate to other aspects of my health. He’s gentle, kind, has a great sense of humour and all around great optometrist. I’m so glad my dad recommended him to me, it’s been great having such a knowledgeable professional looking out for me. I highly recommend him.

Just went and for an eye appointment in Dr Friedmann’s new office space. What a wonderful space! And the doctor had new, extremely high tech equipment which he walked me through as a pre-test for the exam. Have been a long-time patient, and Dr Friedmann’s ability to relate to the layman with accessible language is my favourite thing about him. I’m very impressed with the new office space, and it was sweet to see him and his wife working together again. Always an excellent experience with him.

I am an elderly patient who has been seeing Dr. Bryan Friedmann for 20+ years. Being able to talk with Dr. Friedmann about my concerns and fears in the safety of his office made me feel supported by this incredibly caring and experienced doctor. Being able to see the pictures of my eyes was helpful… Again, I am thankful to Dr. Friedmann for his years of support and insights.

Dr Friedmann is excellent. He is thorough, caring, explains things, and takes the time to help you understand any issues. His sense of humour makes your appointment feel more relaxed and comfortable. We are so fortunate to have him for our eye care.

My wife and family and I have known Dr. Bryan Friedman for many years. He has looked after us with an outstanding expertise matched only by his friendly attentive caring attitude. He recently diagnosed a very difficult problem I had with one eye. Because of his perseverance and interaction with our family doctor I am now on the right path for recovery. All in all he is certainly No. 1 to our family.

I had an eye examination by Dr. Bryan Friedmann, and I like the idea that he took notes and answered my questions well, and also asked good questions. He does not pressure you in any way.

I had Lasik surgery in Vancouver so the clinic referred me to Dr. Friedmann for all my follow up visits. He was fun and made sure I understood exactly what changes I could expect so there were no surprises or worries about my healing. Everyone in my family now sees him and he is one of the best eye doctors I have ever been to and highly recommend him to anyone.
